Melrose on the Beach Daufuskie Island Update

Here is an update on the latest news on Daufuskie Island and the Melrose on the Beach Club. The Melrose on the Beach Club is still moving forward with their original plan. They are working on getting the restaurant portion of the beach club up and running and then will move onto the Pro-shop and Jack’s Restaurant. Sometime next year they will begin on the Melrose Inn. The Beach Club pool is open and has the grill up and running doing burgers and hot-dogs poolside. The beach club has remained busy all through July and we do not perceive it slowing down anytime soon. The pool hours are as follows:

In other news the equestrian center has hired a long time Daufuskie Islander, Peggy Noon. She has started haunted trail rides, beach rides, and pony rides. They are also looking for a new burrow or pony to help out with the pony rides. To learn more about what is happening at the equestrian center call- 843/341/2894

I also have a new listing! In the heart of Melrose located on the fairway of number six is a fantastic home site. 231 Melrose has golf views and is located three holes from the Beach Club and the ocean. You can take a slow walk or a quick bike ride from the property and be on the beach. The lot is located outside of the CBRA Zone so there are no high insurance fees. POA is $600 a year plus the water and sewer fees. This property is listed at a ridiculous low price of $24,900.
